What We Do
Friends of AAC enhances the lives of Austin’s shelter pets and helps remove barriers to adoption. Our work includes:
Behavior
Positive reinforcement based behavior training for animals through our
Behavior Assistance Program
Shelter Support
Quality of life improvements for animals in the shelter by providing beds and enrichment supplies, and upgrading facilities like kennels and doggie play yards
Foster, Volunteer, and Staff Support
Support for the people that give their all to shelter pets through supplies, education, and morale-boosting activities
